A new kind of RV Park - designed by an award-winning architect, built around cliffs, spirings, and forest clearings - where nature and thoughtful design coexist.

Red Gate Hollow RV Park will be developed as a boutique outdoor destination in Estill County, Kentucky, envisioned as a place where the natural beauty of the region meets modern comfort.

I am leading the initial phase of this project, which is the first step in developing a 60-acre mountain property. The park will feature 40 full-service RV and tent sites, a central bathhouse and community cooking pavilion, a welcome center on 10 acres.

The development is also home to the Little Boy Nemo Memorial Dog Garden—a peaceful retreat for visitors traveling with pets and a tribute to beloved animals.

The goal is to help grow the local business community, create jobs, and provide greater access to the outdoors while preserving the natural habitat. Each campsite will be designed for privacy and scenic views, with nightlight features to enhance safety and ambience. The park will use environmentally responsible design and native materials wherever possible, reflecting a commitment to sustainability and stewardship of the land. With the land acquisition complete, the next step is building the RV sites, infrastructure, and community spaces.
