My name is Gabriella, and loving animals has never just been a hobby for me. It has been part of who I am for as long as I can remember.
When I was little, I had a dog themed birthday party because I was already that kid. I was the one who stopped to pet every dog, who cried over stray animals, and who believed they all deserved someone to love them. One of my favorite shows growing up was ASPCA, and I would sit there watching, wishing I could reach through the screen and help every animal I saw. Making this rescue is truly a dream little Gaby carried in her heart long before she even knew it could be real.
Not much has changed. Today, I am still that same crazy dog and cat mom, the one whose camera roll is mostly animals and whose heart always seems to make room for one more.
Over the years, that love turned into action. I began fostering for different rescue organizations, opening my home to animals who were scared, sick, abandoned, or simply unwanted. Some stayed for weeks, some for months, and each one left a mark on my heart. There were late nights bottle feeding kittens, early mornings cleaning up messes, and countless quiet moments spent earning the trust of animals who had every reason not to trust humans anymore.
I have also stepped in on my own, rescuing animals I could not walk away from and covering their food, vet care, and supplies with my own money, because sometimes waiting for someone else to help just is not an option when a life is on the line.
Through all of this, I learned that rescue is not just about saving an animal in the moment. It is about what happens next. It is about making sure they never have to go through that fear and uncertainty again. Rescue should be thoughtful. It should be supportive. It should be lifelong.
That belief became the foundation for Oso’s Pack Animal Rescue.
Oso’s Pack Animal Rescue exists to create lasting homes built on preparation, commitment, and belonging. We often describe rescue as giving animals a second chance, as if they are moving from one opportunity to the next. But many of the animals who come into rescue were never given a real chance to begin with. They may have been abandoned, misunderstood, or mistreated through no fault of their own. What we offer is not another attempt. It is an end to the cycle. This is not a second chance. This is the place where permanence begins.
As a bilingual, foster based rescue, we thoughtfully guide huskies, puppies, and kittens into homes prepared for the lifelong responsibility of caring for them. Through education, cultural and language accessibility, careful matching, and continued support beyond adoption, we strive to ensure every animal is understood, protected, and chosen for life.
I am raising funds to officially launch this rescue so we can begin saving animals the right way, with proper veterinary care, prepared foster homes, and support for adopters long after adoption day.
Thank you for helping me turn a childhood dream into a rescue built on love, responsibility, and forever homes.
