About Me

My name is Fernanda Vuilleumier—an architect and landscape designer with work published across the Americas. My lifelong passion is creating spaces that connect people with nature.

Studio-FV Architecture Design

Founded in 2008, Studio-FV focuses on architecture, residential design, and remodels. Our mission is to design homes and spaces that are timeless, functional, and deeply connected to their environment.

In 2021, I launched Flora & Gardens Design in the Texas Hill Country, serving San Antonio and surrounding areas. With our in-house team FLORA & GARDENS DESIGN we specialize in:

Nupp Roots

Now, we are taking the next step with Nupp Roots by Flora & Gardens Design—a Neighborhood Home & Garden Kiosk that makes gardening accessible, joyful, and personal. Unlike traditional garden centers, our kiosk is part shop, part classroom, and part community hub, offering curated plants, DIY garden kits, and hands-on workshops right in the neighborhood.

HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT

Curated Garden Goods: Seasonal edibles, herbs, native plants, artisan pots, and raised-bed kits tailored to San Antonio’s climate.

DIY & Subscription Programs: Ready-to-grow garden boxes and seasonal kits that keep families connected to fresh food year-round.

Workshops & Events: From terrarium-building to “herbs for healing,” we make gardening a tool for creativity, well-being, and connection.

Community Hub: Inspiring food awareness, neighborhood ties, and everyday joy.

Health & Well-Being: Gardening reduces stress, improves mental health, and encourages healthier lifestyles.

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP

We are raising to launch our first Nupp Roots kiosk at Open Spaces, Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, TX.
