TheJoyWeaverCommunity.com is being developed as an online hub of Christian testimonies, Christ-centered praise and worship, and recommendations of Bible-based books, Bible studies, and soul- healing resources to strengthen, support, and encourage women (1 Cor. 14:3) in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

The recommended resources are those of other brothers and sisters in Christ which have powerfully impacted Nancy's life toward growth and maturity, confidence and freedom, and passion to pass it on as a committed disciple of Christ. God has used these faithful bearers of God's truth and work in their lives to help Nancy trust and obey Jesus with resulting joy through the years in many extreme and painful circumstances.

This website is also Nancy's author website where she posts blogs and the link to her first book. In the coming months she desires to post links to indie-published youth Bible studies (pulsing in her veins since Bible college) and numbers of discipleship-focused memoirs of God at work during decades of marriage, parenting, and missions in fellowship with strong communities of collaborative believers.

In person, Nancy seeks to be used by the Lord for "Healing the Family of God, one broken life at a time." The goal is to see women 1) Know Jesus personally; 2) Love Jesus wholeheartedly; 3) Walk with Jesus freely; and 4) Serve Jesus faithfully. PHILIPPIANS 1:8-11 PSALM 16:11

Nancy accepted a free 45-minute consultation about her first book with a lady over spring break. They had connected in a webinar from the Author Learning Center. Nancy would appreciate her 12+ years of expertise at Author Connections. Marketing package would help reach target audiences and develop more sales. Nancy also wants to testify for Christ in that partnership, if it develops.

God opened the door for Nancy to write her first discipleship-focused memoir during a long haul from 2018-2023, using the accounts from her childhood journals. Praise the Lord for His goodness all along the way without a budget!!

In 2018, Deb B. was a highly qualified, sincerely tough writing coach and spiritual mentor. Her generous time and energy gave Nancy's dream wings to fly. The internet was a treasure trove of accessible research and knowledge. In 2022, Krissy M. led Nancy to Flourish Writers, an online conference of likeminded writers and producers, for $40!

Many friends and relatives (Joy M., Cheryl H., Michele T., Rachel H., and Aunt Nancy read and edited the manuscript.) John H. listened to the saga about myriads of decisions regarding a publisher; and he gave wise business counsel. And so many prayed for God's will to be done!

Sheri R. joyously painted a gorgeous water color for the cover. This was no small feat, requiring copious amounts of research and sketches, before she created three full versions until she was finally satisfied. She refused payment.

David R. carefully packaged and mailed the labor of love after they had both worked tirelessly to procure a specific type of digital file. Will led Nancy to Canva, and Anthea led her to YouTube videos about creating book covers. Brady took author photos and worked on front cover design. And Loi L. bought one of the first books the moment it hit KDP.

Another huge boost came when anonymous turned Nancy's pencil sketch into a bonafide logo and built a professional website for the domain name, at no cost!

Hubby and BFF Bill listened to the ideas take shape for years, without an expiration date. He heartily prayed his wife through scores of nearly sleepless nights, endless edits, and deep dives into fine print mazes of technical and professional directives. He cheered her on as a novice - reiterating at every turn, "There is no budget!"

This meant he had agreed to walk the "no job for 4 months so she can write" pathway of Proverbs 3:5-6.

When the manuscript had finally taken shape, she found KDP on Amazon, where independent publishers are able to post their work at no cost.

After the book was published, Nancy's parents hosted a luncheon / author talk and sold some books in their missionary-kid-loving community. David & Michelle in Florida kept copies in their coffee shop. Facebook and Instagram reached a few.

SO MUCH LOVE from the body of Christ!

I've sold / distributed more and more lately face to face. That book was self-published (no paid professional help). I would really like to pay for professional services and pay some of these volunteers who stay on with me over these next years of writing. Paying for certain services without a traditional publisher is called indie-publishing. I need help with start-up costs to accomplish that.
