Five years ago, I arrived in the Midwest with nothing but my truck and a few power tools, ready to start over. Since then, I’ve become a college student, a lover of stories, and a new father. Now, I’m taking my biggest leap yet—becoming an author with my first fantasy novel, 'Retribution: Tales From the Tapestry.' When I’m not chasing after my wild toddler, you’ll find me writing, gaming, or at the gym. I wrote Retribution because, while I love most fantasy stories, I always felt the revenge tales never quite got it right. I wanted to create an epic, stoic hero on a gritty but noble quest for vengeance against a truly evil villain—one who would finally get a satisfyingly vicious end. After enough disappointment, I thought, “I could write a better story!” So I did.

But writing the book was the easy part. As a new father and college student, I don’t have the resources to give my book the professional polish it deserves. Graphic design and marketing are not my strong suits, and I need help to hire talented people who can bring my vision to life and help my story reach readers everywhere. It takes money to make money, and being able to afford these services will allow me to take my first confident step into the literary world. To show my gratitude, I’ll send the first ten donors a signed first edition copy of my book.
