My journey with deep dish pizzas and cheesecakes began in my own kitchen, making healthy versions for myself and my loved ones. The smiles and joy these treats brought to my family and friends inspired me to share them with others. Soon, everyone was saying, “You could sell these and make so many people happy!” That encouragement led me to start selling to customers, and seeing their happiness confirmed that this was my calling. Our mission is simple: to create happiness and joy, one satisfied taste bud and happy tummy at a time. We believe that good food can bring people together and inspire love, and that’s exactly what we want to do with every pizza and cheesecake we make.

Recently, my sons and I have faced challenges finding steady work. Instead of waiting for opportunities, we decided to create our own by building this business together. Our dream is not only to provide for ourselves, but to grow and create jobs for others in our community. Every day, I’ve made it a habit to help other local businesses by picking up trash and sweeping in front of their stores, quietly wishing them success. Sometimes, business owners come out to thank me or offer a bottle of water, touched by a simple act of kindness. I look forward to the day when I can do the same in front of our own business, giving back to the community that has given us so much.

Right now, we’re working hard to grow our family business, M & M BAM Deep Dish Pizzas & Cheesecakes. We’ve been searching for the right place to call home for our bakery—whether it’s a restaurant location or a house with a garage to start from. We need help catching up on our gas bill so we can use both gas and electric ovens to meet the demand. We’re also looking to buy more pizza and cheesecake boxes, ingredients for our unique recipes, and, if possible, secure a location to serve even more happy customers. We’ve already set up DoorDash and are spreading the word with flyers, but we know we can do so much more with your support.

This business is a tribute to two amazing women: Mamie, my mother, and Marie, my former mother-in-law, both of whom are now in heaven but remain the inspiration behind our name. BAM stands for Brahman, Aaron & Moses—myself and my two sons. We are a family committed to bringing a little sunshine, joy, and happiness into the world through food that lights up the taste buds and warms the heart. During tough times, we believe there is still love in the world, and we hope our products inspire joy and happiness for everyone who tries them.
