My name is Tiesha, and I am the mother of a beautiful two-year-old girl, Kaicey, who is bravely battling Wilms tumor - a rare form of pediatric kidney cancer. Kaicey was diagnosed on July 4, 2025, at CHOP Philadelphia after being taken in for what we believed to be just a swollen spleen, which turned into our worst nightmare as parents. Through the month-long continued hospital stay, treatments, and emotional ups and downs, one thing has remained clear: I want Kaicey's journey to inspire hope, strength, and healing for other families facing similar battles. That's why I am starting a nonprofit called Kaicey's Courage dedicated to:
- Raising money for pediatric Wilms tumor clinical research.
- Delivering care packages, school supplies, meal vouchers, and gas cards to families affected.
- Giving children a sense of normalcy and joy through thoughtful support and outreach events that will be hosted by myself, volunteers, and other family members.
We are in the first steps of registering Kaicey's Courage as a legal nonprofit charity organization in Pennsylvania. Donations would help cover all goals mentioned above along with the filing fees and costs of turning Kaicey's Courage charity organization into reality so that we can get our mission up and running.
Your donation will help us take the first step in building something lasting - something that honors Kaicey's strength and courage and uplifts families across the country. Any donation is accepted no matter the amount. Every prayer sent is also a form of non-monetary donation that we heavily accept.
Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support.
With love and gratitude,
Tiesha & Kaicey
