The Impound Recovery and Advocacy Project was created to address a growing need in our community: helping disadvantaged and low-income families recover their vehicles after impoundment. Without reliable transportation, many people face losing their jobs, missing medical appointments, and struggling to provide for their families. As someone who has seen firsthand the impact of vehicle loss, I am passionate about making a difference and ensuring that no one is left stranded due to financial hardship.

Right now, we are working to officially launch this project as a registered charity. To do this, we need to cover legal fees and licensing costs, which are essential for getting up and running. Once established, our goal is to use starting capital to pay impound fees for those in need. By helping people get their cars back, we not only support their ability to work and care for their families, but also help reduce the congestion of vehicles sitting in impound lots for years.
