Update from Granville Fencing Academy – Thank You & What’s Next!

Thanks to your incredible generosity and support, we’re proud to share the progress we’ve made so far at Granville Fencing Academy!

With your donations, we’ve been able to purchase essential gear such as practice jackets, sabre blades, and fencing masks—all of which directly support our students’ training and safety. We’ve also secured storage lockers, helping us keep our equipment safe and organized in our rented space.

Beyond equipment, your contributions have allowed us to build momentum on social media and spread greater awareness of our club. As a result, we’ve grown to over 30 students and counting—a testament to how your support is helping us grow the sport of fencing in our community.

What We Need Next:

To keep up with this growth and improve the experience for everyone, we’re raising funds for a few key needs:

• Wireless Fencing System – We are hoping to purchase the EnPointe Wireless Display Set ($1,000), which would eliminate the hassle of setting up cords and reels in our shared rental space. If we can get 2 of these that would be amazing.

• Practice Lames (Jackets for Electric Fencing) – For both kids and adults, these cost between $100–$200 each and are crucial for participating in electric sabre fencing. We’re looking to get at least 30 lames. 15 for kids and 15 for adults.

• Pay-It-Forward Program – We’re also launching a new initiative where donors can sponsor a monthly or annual membership for a student in need, helping ensure that fencing is accessible to all.
