We have chosen to tackle the serious problem of electronic waste (e-waste). This environmental disaster is caused from lack of infrastructure to handle the immense and growing piles of discarded computers and phones in the United States. Every minute, devices are put in the trash. As a result, landfills and streams are polluted with toxic chemicals and we are literally throwing away precious materials like gold, silver, palladium and rare earth elements.
Save The Planet Working Group is Inspired by successful innovations from other countries, who have been more purposeful in their treatment of these resources. We are building an innovative circular economy model that recovers resources, reuses materials and detoxifies the remnants to go back to the earth.
Compared to the USA current norm, our approach is safer for the environment and workers and respects the value of the materials involved.
To move our mission forward, we need support to establish a small-scale laboratory where we can process batches of e-waste, refine our methods, and document our process. The funds raised will cover materials, lab space, and provide income for myself, a scientist and engineer, as we work toward proof of concept and demonstrate profitability. We are attending an international e-waste conference in June, to learn and integrate the successful methods from other countries. Once we reach these milestones, we’ll be able to pursue traditional fundraising and offer investment agreements to larger backers.
Many people feel disillusioned with society right now, and one remedy is to pitch in and help. Providing support for companies like us, that are transparent, ethical, and committed to helping our world is one of the most empowering actions you can take.
Your impact is your legacy. Contributing to ecopreneurs who are working toward a world where water isn’t polluted and natural resources are respected, is an effective way to achieve this landmark. Conscious capitalism should be the new normal, where profitability, respect and sustainability can thrive together.
Using AI, Google, Social media technology is all sucking up resources. Its not free - remember the Earth is loaning us these elements. Join us on the stewardship path and be part of the solution.
