Campaign Story
A Vision Rooted in Love & Service
With over 25 years in education, and as a Transition Program Principal and advocate, I believe in unlocking potential for young adults with disabilities. That’s why I’m launching Empower Life Center—a community-based life coaching and wellness hub for 18–34-year-olds and their families in DuPage County.
Why We Need You - How funds will be used!
We’re raising $25,000 to:
1. Secure a safe, ADA-compliant facility for coaching, workshops, and peer connection.
2. Hire licensed staff to deliver trauma-informed, growth-centered support.
3. Fund launch programs serving up to 50 families this year—some free or subsidized.
4. Offer essential scholarships to families in greatest need.
⸻
What We Offer
• One-on-one life coaching
• Family-focused emotional wellness and advocacy (IEP & AR support)
• Structured Saturday drop-ins and weekday enrichment
• Group workshops on emotional regulation, anger management, self-advocacy, and community resources.
Empower Life Center is not a school—it’s a family enrichment center focused on personal growth, independence, and community.
⸻
Why It Matters
Many community members with disabilities face a sudden drop-off in support after high school or a transition program. This center bridges that gap—offering emotional grounding, self-awareness, and actionable skills to thrive beyond the classroom.
