Growing up, I was pulled from public school in the second or third grade because the environment was not supportive of real learning. My mom (Me and my mom in the photo; I wear masks a lot due to a mix of anxiety and health) faced a tough journey homeschooling me, and I saw firsthand how overwhelming it can be for parents to navigate all the options. Even now, my sister is trying to earn her GED, but the support she received was lacking; her instructor did not check homework or provide real guidance. These experiences made me realize how many families and learners in Pennsylvania are left without a clear starting point for homeschooling or GED preparation.

That’s why I am creating Eclectic Academy, a free, beginner-friendly website dedicated to providing clear guidance and resources for Pennsylvania families exploring homeschooling, as well as teens and adults preparing for the GED. My goal is to simplify complex educational requirements, reduce stress, and offer a reliable, accessible tool that empowers learners and their families. The site will also feature a digital library to help users find valuable online resources, and it will remain secular, with no religious affiliation.

As just one person, I need your help to keep this project going. Donations will cover the costs of running and maintaining the website, and in time, help me build a team of volunteers to expand our reach. There will never be a fee for this website. No merchandise to sell, no products to sell. All of the donations go directly into the website's existence and upkeep.
