I’m Michael King, a retired U.S. Army Infantry Lieutenant Colonel, Bronze Star recipient, and PADI-certified scuba instructor. I run Excite Scuba LLC, a veteran-owned dive training company in Tyler County, TX.

But our region — despite being surrounded by major lakes — has no certified dive rescue team. When tragedy strikes, local law enforcement and fire departments have no trained dive support.

We’re changing that.

Our Mission:

Build and equip a certified Dive Rescue & Recovery Team to serve East Texas with rapid response, training, and recovery support for:

- Drownings

- Flood search & rescue

- Submerged vehicles

- Public safety team support
