Help Launch Detroit’s First Contemporary Art Fair
Donation protected
My name is Amani Olu, and I’m the Founder and Curatorial Director of Season Fair, Detroit’s first contemporary art fair, launching September 25–28, 2025 at Michigan Central.
Season Fair will bring together 11 leading galleries from across North America, a curated platform of 10 Detroit-based artists through Detroit Presents, and Season Talks, a two-day series of critical conversations with artists, curators, and cultural leaders. In addition, Off Season programs will include tours, studio visits, and citywide activations designed to connect residents and visitors with Detroit’s cultural life.
To make it across the finish line, we must raise additional funds by September 1, 2025. So far, we’ve raised $90,250. Sadly, it is not enough to cover production and programming costs.
Here’s where you come in: Donate $50 or more today.
If everyone reading this gave just $50, we would reach our goal in minutes.
Our mission is three-fold:
- Cultivate a dynamic marketplace for contemporary art, connecting world-class artists and exhibitors with collectors at every level—whether new, established, or emerging.
- Provide a powerful platform for Detroit-based artists to connect with influential collectors, curators, galleries, and art critics representing the broader art world.
- Support exceptional local galleries priced out of traditional art fair participation.
Your support ensures Season Fair is realized at the highest level — providing visibility for Detroit artists, new opportunities for galleries and collectors, and a world-class cultural experience for everyone who calls Detroit home or visits during the fair.
All contributions are 100% tax-deductible.
Please donate today, share this campaign, and help us make history together.
With gratitude,
Amani Olu
