For nearly two decades, I have proudly served in the Indiana Army National Guard, and in just seven months I will complete that chapter of my life. For the past eight years, I have also dedicated myself to protecting and serving my community as a police officer. Before those careers, I spent 12 years in the hospitality industry—working every position from host and waiter to bartender and prep cook. My time at Indiana University, where I cheered on the Hoosiers as part of the Cheerleading Program, strengthened my connection to the state I love. But long before uniforms, badges, or college sidelines, there was a kitchen—my mother’s kitchen—where my passion for cooking first took root.

For years, I dreamed of opening a restaurant. When COVID‑19 hit, my wife wisely encouraged me to rethink the timing. The dream didn’t fade; it evolved. The answer became a food truck. Five years ago, I committed myself to learning everything I could—market research, menu development, culinary refinement. It has been demanding, humbling, and deeply rewarding. And from that journey, Crimson Buffalo Food Co. was born.

The name carries the spirit of Indiana. Our burgers honor local pride, military heritage, and the communities that shaped me. The Indiana State Seal features the American bison, a symbol of strength and resilience. And as an Indiana University alum, the Crimson Stampede—where a herd of buffalo bursts through a wall at sporting events—left a lasting impression. Those two worlds came together to create a brand rooted in tradition, identity, and home.

My mission is simple: bring made‑to‑order gourmet burgers to the people of Indiana and beyond. After years spent in high‑stress careers, I’m ready to build something that brings joy—something where the reward is seeing someone smile after taking their first bite of food I crafted with care. I want Crimson Buffalo Food Co. to become a local favorite and eventually a name people across the country associate with Indianapolis.

To make that vision a reality, I’m asking for your support. Every contribution moves this dream one step closer. Your generosity helps build a business rooted in service, community, and Indiana pride.

Donations will be used towards the foodtruck / trailer, licenses, permits, wrap, and supplies.
