Help Me Take the Stage — From Los Angeles to London (and Beyond)

Hi, I’m Clarissa R., a stand-up comedian, massage therapist, and creative from Los Angeles who’s been performing comedy for over 10 years.

I’m taking a leap I’ve dreamed about for years: bringing my comedy to the United Kingdom — to perform, connect, and expand internationally.

I'd like to begin performing professionally abroad, building relationships with comedians and venues across London and beyond.

The Mission

After years of performing in clubs, mics, and showcases across the U.S., it’s time to branch out — not just down the street or across state lines, but across oceans.

This isn’t just a visit. It’s the first stop of something bigger:

• Touring the United Kingdom — performing in London, Manchester, and Birmingham

• Building connections with international comics

• Creating content to document what it’s like to make people laugh in a foreign land

• Bringing cultural healing through comedy and bodywork

Beyond London

This journey isn’t limited to the UK. The long-term vision is to perform and study the body-mind connection through comedy and massage around the world.

After London, I plan to travel to:

1. Thailand — to study Thai Massage and integrate ancient healing into my practice.

2. Dharamsala, India — home of the Dalai Lama; to explore spiritual and physical healing traditions.

3. Tokyo, Japan — to experience Japan’s stand-up and wellness culture.

4. Amsterdam, Netherlands — to perform and collaborate with local artists, and to honor the memory of our friend Blake, who traveled there in his fight for human rights.

5. Nigeria — to reconnect with ancestral roots through both healing work and humor.

Each destination adds to my global mission: to bridge cultures through laughter, bodywork, and human connection.

What Your Support Covers

All funds will go directly toward:

• ✈️ Travel & Flights (L.A. → London, plus future tours)

• Lodging for 1 Month

• Comedy Shows, Open Mics & Creative Collaborations

• Local Transportation (Tube, Buses, Ubers)

• Daily Living Costs while Touring

• Filming, Editing & Sharing the Journey

Goal: $5,000 — covering one month in London and helping launch this international tour series.
