Once Chapman University’s ice hockey team, now a proud independent club—Panthers Ice Hockey is BACK. With your support, we can not only sustain the team this year but also build a legacy that lasts for generations. Ice Hockey is incredibly expensive. Gear alone is thousands of dollars for one season. Our fundraising goal is $20,700, and every contribution brings us closer.

This co-ed team is built on the values of community and inclusivity, creating a safe and welcoming space where athletes of all backgrounds—especially women—can compete and thrive at a high level. After high school, many Southern California hockey players lose opportunities to play competitively due to the lack of collegiate programs. We’re here to change that.

Right now, we’re recruiting players, raising funds, and rebuilding the program from the ground up—not just forming a team, but building a community that stands for passion, resilience, and love for the game. Our mission is to deliver competitive, inclusive, and exciting hockey for athletes and fans alike. But we can’t do it without you.
