We started CHAMP, Croton-Harmon Arts, Music, and Performance, because we believe the arts should be a visible, well-supported part of every student’s education.

Thanks to early support, we’ve already raised enough to cover our startup costs and officially form CHAMP Boosters, Inc. Now we’re continuing to raise funds to expand our impact while we wait for official nonprofit, tax-exempt status to come through.

Why CHAMP?

Croton is full of creative people. Musicians, artists, performers, makers. CHAMP was created to make sure our schools reflect that energy and opportunity. Every student should have access to meaningful, exciting arts experiences. Whether that’s performing on stage, playing in the band, singing in the choir, painting a mural, or simply having the confidence to create something of their own.

CHAMP supports that by providing:

What this fundraiser supports now:

We’ve already covered our legal fees, filing costs, and startup expenses. Continued donations will help us:

We’ve applied for federal nonprofit status with the IRS, but it is still being processed. So for now, donations are not tax-deductible. Even so, every contribution goes directly toward building momentum and impact.

Why it matters:

Whether it’s a violin, a spotlight, a set of paints, or simply the encouragement to try something new, your support helps make it happen. CHAMP is here to spotlight the students who bring creativity to our schools, to make sure no one misses out due to cost, and to build a culture where the arts are recognized as essential to a thriving district.

Please consider donating or sharing with someone who believes in the power of the arts.
