I’m Lia, and I’m raising support for Athena Aftercare, an app I’ve been building to help fellow breast cancer survivors. I’ve taken Athena Aftercare as far as I can on my own, pouring my time, energy, and heart into creating the app prototype myself which you can test at this link: https://www.athenaaftercare.com/app

This project means so much to me because I believe survivors deserve support that is accessible, thoughtful, and truly built with their needs in mind. I’ve found an app developer to help bring the first version to the app store, but I need help covering the design and technology costs required to get it across the finish line and into the hands of the people it was created for.

One thing I want to be upfront about: Athena Aftercare is a start-up, not a nonprofit. Contributions won't receive a tax receipt. You're supporting an entrepreneurial vision, the way you'd back a friend opening a bakery. Every dollar raised goes toward the design and development costs of getting this first version into the app store.

That’s why I’m launching this fundraiser and asking for your support. Every contribution will help move Athena Aftercare closer to reality so breast cancer survivors can begin using it. I’m calling this effort Five for Athena, and the ask is simple:
