I’m a first-time small business owner in New Jersey, and I’ve been chasing one belief my whole life:
Art = therapy.
Since 2004, I’ve poured myself into the arts—music, film, comedy, design, photography, and beyond. Through my company, Almost Baked, LLC, I want to share that same healing power of creativity with others. My mission is simple: to give people the tools and space to express themselves, grow, and heal through art.
Over the past year, I’ve worked tirelessly to get Almost Baked off the ground, but like so many small business owners, the biggest challenge has been funding. Start-up costs—like website hosting, P.O. box/shipping, product development, and building a creative storefront—have all added up. Traditional grants are hard to access without expensive subscriptions, and the process can feel like an uphill battle.
That’s where you come in.
I’m raising $50,000 to bring Almost Baked to life in a real, sustainable way. Here’s what your support will help cover:
•Creative studio & workshop space – a hub where people can learn and create
•Website & digital storefront – connecting art to the community and beyond
•Production tools – for music, film, and design projects
•Operations – shipping, business costs, and outreach
•Community programs – workshops and showcases uplifting underrepresented voices
This isn’t just about me. It’s about building a safe space where creativity, healing, and community intersect—where art isn’t a luxury, but a lifeline.
Every dollar brings us closer to that vision. Whether you can give $5 or 5¢, your support makes a difference. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing this campaign means the world.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in this dream. Together, we can make Almost Baked more than a business—we can make it a movement.
