Hi, I'm Jason Lurie, and I'm starting a dedicated Emergency Rescue Service for dogs and cats - a rapid-response, boots-on-the-ground service to save injured, abandoned, or at-risk pets when every second counts.
Who am I? I'm just your average guy who loves animals more than most. I've had pets all my life. I currently have 13 cats and 3 dogs. All rescued or saved from being euthanized. I want to expand my footprint so I can take care of more!! I need your help though!
Every day, animals are hit by cars, trapped under homes, dumped in ditches, or left behind in evictions. Good samaritans, animal control, and even shelters don't have the resources to respond fast enough. That's where we come in.
This rescue will:
- Respond 24/7 to urgent calls from the public or shelters
- Safely extract animals from dangerous locations
- Provide emergency transport to vets or partner clinics
- Offer crisis shelter, triage, and reunification if possible.
Our startup fundraising goal: $7,000 will help cover:
- A free-standing house and dog run in my yard to complete the existing outdoor housing facilities.
- Medical triage supplies (first aid, warming pads, fluids)
- Outreach materials to get the word out and connect with shelters
Donate what you can, share with animal lovers, and join the mission. Every dollar is a pawprint closer to safety for an animal in crisis. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts - and from every animal we save.
