My name is Eugenia, and I am thrilled to share that I am opening a Child Development Center in Hagerstown, MD on June 1st. This has been a dream of mine for years—a place where children can feel safe, inspired, and truly cared for. My vision is to create a utopia for our community’s children, where every child is given the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in a nurturing environment.

I feel incredibly fortunate that the space I found was previously a child development center, and everything was left behind. This blessing means that many essentials—tables, chairs, toys, a refrigerator, and a freezer—are already in place, helping to defer significant start-up costs. It’s one more sign that this center is meant to be, and it allows me to focus the funds raised on securing the space and opening our doors to families in need.

My passion is that every child who walks through our doors knows they are seen and heard, and that they learn the value of loving themselves and others. This isn’t just a space for children—I am equally passionate about creating an environment where staff can thrive both personally and professionally. I believe that when educators feel supported and valued, they can give their very best to the children in their care.

Starting this center is a big step, and I am reaching out for support to help make it a reality. The funds raised will go directly toward covering the first and last months’ rent for our new space. It would be a true blessing if funds could be raised at least a month before our grand opening, as this is needed to be handed the key to the building. Securing this foundation is essential to opening our doors and welcoming families who are looking for a place where their children can flourish.
