Help Latte Overcome Life-Threatening Condition

My cat Latte is 8 years old and was given a steroid shot by a vet last week to treat a simple ear infection. A few days later, he suddenly became lethargic and started breathing rapidly. I rushed him back in, and we found out he has fluid around his lungs and heart — a serious and life-threatening condition.

This was an unexpected complication caused by the steroid injection, and now he needs a procedure to drain the fluid and testing to find out if the cause is heart disease, cancer, or infection.

I’ve already spent everything I could to get him diagnosed, but the upcoming procedures and treatment are more than I can handle alone.
