We were recently displaced from our home due to an undetermined fire, and the experience has left us shaken and uncertain about the future. In a matter of hours, we lost the majority of our belongings and the place we called home. The timing makes it even harder, as we are so close to the holidays—Christmas to be exact—which is usually a time of joy and togetherness for our family.
