Help LaTonya & her son with their new beginning

This is my dear friend, LaTonya, and although she's smiling in this picture (taken before her world was rocked), what has happened since likely would break anyone's spirit. She survived a bitter divorce battle that ended in July 2021; sustained major injuries in a horrific car crash that happened in October 2021 and which totaled her car and left her out of work for months. These injuries continue to plague her even now. But, she persevered and was able to return work.

Then, just when she thought she was on the mend, residual health challenges recently resurfaced, landing her back in the hospital recently with life-threatening pulmonary issues that are directly linked to her (now former) tremendously long daily commute - sometimes as long as 3+ hours round trip! This recent hospital stay led to her losing her job and, in addition to all of this, an eviction order was leveled and she and her son have to vacate their home by the end of this month.

LaTonya really needs help getting enough funds to pay off the outstanding rent payments and school bills for her son. All other funds will help them to return to North Carolina to be near the family support they desperately need.
