Dr. Pat Pattabhiraman’s wife, Latha Pat, sincerely appreciates your support and presence during this difficult time.
Dear Community,
Hare Krishna - It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Dr. Pat Pattabhiraman at 8:28 am PST on Saturday Dec 7th, 2024. After 18 days in the ICU, the doctors determined there were no signs of recovery. They transitioned Pat off the ventilator, allowing him to breathe with external oxygen support. Surrounded by chanting and with Latha by his side, Pat peacefully breathed his last. His face looked bright and serene at the end.
Pat was an extraordinary individual—brilliant, humble, and dedicated to serving the community. He stood by Latha in her mission to expand their selfless service. His presence will be deeply missed. We all pray for his soul to continue its journey towards the lotus feet of the Lord.
Now, it is time for us as a community to rally together for Latha. She has no family in the US or independent source of income, as she has devoted herself entirely to volunteering.
We are all her family, and we urgently need to raise funds not only to cover hospital bills and final rites but also to help Latha navigate through this immense loss and find a sustainable path forward.
We will soon share details about the funeral and how you can make your final offerings to honor Pat. Please contribute generously to help her during the challenging times.
=================
We are reaching out with heavy hearts to seek your support for Latha and her beloved husband, Dr. Pat Pattabhiraman. Pat is currently in the ICU in Evergreen Hospital on life support and in critical condition. This comes not long after Latha herself faced a major life-threatening health crisis, which Pat selflessly cared for, often at the expense of his own health and exhausting their financial resources.
Pat and Latha have always been pillars of our community. Their unwavering dedication to arts, culture, and humanitarian efforts has touched countless lives. Pat’s incredible contributions earned him the prestigious "Best Volunteer Award" from the City of Redmond in 2017, recognizing his commitment to serving others. They both are devoted volunteers of prominent organizations promoting Indian Culture in the Pacific Northwest. Their work has left an indelible mark on our community.
Now, this loving and humble couple needs our help. The medical expenses and ongoing care for Pat, coupled with Latha’s recent challenges, have placed an immense financial burden on them.
We, as a community who have benefited so much from their kindness and service, can come together to support them in their time of need. This campaign has been set up to help cover their mounting medical expenses and provide some relief during this incredibly difficult time.
Let’s show our love and gratitude to Pat and Latha by extending a helping hand. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference. Together, we can help Latha focus on what matters most—being by Pat’s side as he fights for his life.
Please donate and share this appeal widely. Let’s come together for this remarkable couple who have always been there for us.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
All funds raised will be transferred directly to Latha’s account, minus any applicable service fees. If you would like to transfer the amount directly to her, please reach out to us.
