Help Latasha and Kinte recover from fraud loss

I created this Go fund me to help support Latasha and Kinte who are the owners of an amazing small local business in Omaha called "Lady T's Gourmet Creations LLC. Their business recently experienced receiving a large fraudulent order using a stolen credit card.

Unfortunately, the rightful cardholder filed a chargeback—and now, the loss has fallen entirely on us.

We’ve provided all proof of communication and transaction details to Square, and their Risk Management team is currently investigating. In the meantime, they’ve placed a hold on our account, freezing all of our available funds. This has left us with nothing to operate our business this week.

The timing couldn’t be worse. Not only are we unable to restock supplies and keep the business running, but we are now struggling to follow through on a heartfelt commitment: donating food and desserts for the repass of three young girls in our community. This loss is devastating, and not being able to help in their honor is breaking our hearts even more. Latasha will also be undergoing a major medical surgery next month which will prevent her from working for the next 6-8 weeks.
