Our sweet boy Laszlo just underwent emergency surgery due to an obstruction in his stomach.

Friday morning, Laszlo ate breakfast, and shortly later, he was unable to keep it down and was lethargic, not eating or drinking. If you know Laszlo, he lives to eat.

The rest of the day, he did not improve, and he was taken to the emergency vet. After many hours, blood work, xrays, medicine, and an NG tube, we finally got an ultrasound early this morning that identified where the blockage was located. This afternoon, he had exploratory surgery to remove the object that was blocking his bowels.

He is now stable and resting at the hospital. We are allowed to visit this evening after 6 pm.

We’re overwhelmed—emotionally and financially. He’s not just a cat; he’s our little joy, our comfort, our family. Watching him go through this has been heartbreaking, and the vet bills are stacking up fast.
