My son passed away on October 3, 2023, and since then, life has been incredibly difficult. All I had left of him were his two cars, which he cherished deeply. One of them, his 2004 Acura TL, was parked at my dad’s yard, still running and filled with his valuables. After he passed, I couldn’t bring myself to clean out the car because I wasn’t ready to let go of those memories. I never sold the car—it was a piece of him that I wanted to hold onto.

On April 16, everything changed when someone stole the Acura from my dad’s yard. The car was taken by Darryn Craft Blackwell towing out of Elberton, GA, and brought to Scrap Money Recycling in Hartwell, Georgia. Without a bill of sale or a title, they crushed the car the same day. What was taken from me is truly priceless, and the loss has been overwhelming. I am now seeking to retain a lawyer to help me in the legal process to sue the tow company, the scrapyard, and the person who falsely claimed the car was theirs to sell.
