Hi friends,
On June 16th, I received a kidney transplant that saved my life. Recovery has been steady, and I’m incredibly grateful for this second chance. While my health is improving, I’ve hit a small financial hurdle as I try to catch up on bills during recovery.
Right now, I’m facing things like an overdue car payment, an electricity cutoff notice that just happens to fall on my 50th birthday, rent coming due, and my monthly insurance bills that help me cover medical expenses. Freelance opportunities are in the works, but until they land, I’m in a waiting period.
Some of you know I’ve run campaigns like this before.I don’t take asking for help lightly as this is simply about getting through this tough
stretch while I heal and get back on my feet.
I truly believe this is just a small bump in the road. I know I’ll get back on my feet, but during this difficult stretch, I could really use a hand to cover the basics and keep moving forward.
My goal is to raise $7,500, which would cover the essentials — rent, car payment, electricity, and monthly insurance/medical bills — for the next few months while I continue recovering and rebuilding.
As a thank-you, I’d love to give back where I can. Once I’m fully back on my feet, anyone who donates $100 or more will receive a free mini photo session with me (local friends in DFW), or if you’re out of town, I’ll send you a signed print of one of my photos. It’s just my way of showing gratitude for your support during this season.
If you’re able to give anything at all, it would mean so much to me. Every bit of support gets me through this season and closer to stability again.
Thank you for your kindness, encouragement, and belief in me.
With gratitude,
Larry
