Help Support Larry Reed’s Road to Recovery
On the morning of February 27, 2025, our beloved father-in-law, Larry Reed, was struck by a truck in the parking lot of Leer South Mines in Philippi, WV. He was first transported to Broaddus Hospital before being airlifted to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV, where he was diagnosed with severe injuries, including:
- Fractured skull and brain bleeding
- Five broken ribs
- A blood clot in his lungs
- A probable stroke leading to confused speech and a disoriented state of mind
At 75 years old, Larry has always been a strong and hardworking man, supporting his wife, Linda Reed, also 75, through life’s challenges. Now, he faces his biggest battle yet—a long and difficult road to recovery.
Larry is being moved to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Morgantown, where he will begin an intensive rehabilitation process. While he is fighting to regain his health, his family needs your help.
Linda has been by his side every step of the way, but the emotional, physical, and financial toll is overwhelming. Any contribution—big or small—will go a long way in helping cover medical bills, travel expenses, and essential needs during this difficult time.
Please consider donating and sharing this page to support Larry and Linda in their time of need. Your generosity, prayers, and kindness mean more than words can express.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Kiran and Rebecca Kunderu.
