Help Larry rebuild livelihood after major fire

On January 7th, in the wee hours of the morning, Larry Palmer was sound asleep in his 2nd story apartment above the barn at Pepper Hill Farm in South Thomaston, ME. Little did he know that he would soon be awakened by the sound of an attentive driver that stopped to alert the tenants that there was a major fire underway in one of the property's buildings. Fortunately, the fire did not claim any lives of people or animals but it catastrophically claimed the building that holds all of the necessary tools and equipment that Larry utilized for his businesses. At this point, Larry knew that his life would be changed forever and he would need to start over from the ground up.

As the owner of Rockport Builders he had an extensive tool and equipment collection which he acquired over many years in his trade.
He has built and renovated residential and business construction projects throughout Midcoast Maine such as the very building that he lives in as well as the barn that perished in the fire. He is also the owner and originator of Compost Maine where he created a proprietary formula for nutrient rich compost used all over Midcoast Maine properties. This process requires specialized machinery and technical knowledge that Larry developed to speed up the breakdown of compost. Between his two businesses, just the equipment lost was well over 100k and he considers his compost formulas to be priceless. Additionally, Larry has boat building skills and accumulated specialized tools over the years which were part of this huge loss of inventory.

Without a facility and all of his necessities, Larry cannot perform his jobs that support his livelihood and clients needs. It was heartbreaking to hear Larry tell us that he only had one screwdriver and hammer to his name after this devastating loss. The amount of loss he has experienced is astronomical and it will take much time and expense to rebuild and recoup. Let's help Larry ease the strain of some of these costs for fundamentals so he can be up and running again as soon as possible.

Any donation no matter how big or small will be graciously received and much appreciated.
