Help Larry Hirsch's Wife with Medical and Funeral Costs

Donation protected
Hey guys! As many of you probably know my step father (My DAD) Larry Hirsch was hospitalized on Christmas Day, from there he rapidly declined. Between the Strokes, non-alcoholic liver failure, to Kidney failure, and a decline in his heart causing his pace maker to no longer be of any benefit. It has quickly gone from 0 to 100. This all came very suddenly and unexpected as he was still working and was perfectly fine leading up to Christmas. We expected to have many MANY more years with him so as you can imagine this all comes as a very unexpected shock.

If you are still here reading at this point I wanted to share a little about the amazing life Larry led. Born and raised in Anaheim, California as you can imagine he was always stubborn and strong willed. Enlisting in the Army as a young man he served many years as Military Police serving in Korea. He retired from the Army after being stationed in Alaska and went on to join the Air National Guard to search for plane wreckage. After retiring from the Air National Guard he started his long career in Security, serving as field supervisor for many years protecting the citizens of Seattle. Larry was a kind, hard working man who loved his family deeply and went above and beyond to support the people he cared about. He met his wife and soul mate in 2009, going on to spend the remainder of his life making unforgettable memories with her. He was an incredibly husband, and choose to be a fantastic and supportive father and grandfather when he did not have to be.

Larry has left an impact on every person he met and will be mourned deeply for the remainder of our days. His wife had to make the heartbreaking decision to sign a DNR and allow him to begin to pass peacefully with palliative care. She is absolutely devastated and crushed. With that being said, with his unexpected extended hospital stay and the impact his untimely decline caused, his wife Kim has had to miss copious amounts of work and is unexpectedly on her singular income with medical and personal bills, along with the upcoming cost of services and burial. Any donations or help would greatly benefit her as she takes these next steps into a life without her husband and soulmate. The world will not be the same without Larry. He will be deeply missed.
