Larry Geuea is a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who has been living out his retirement in Thailand for the last 2-3 decades. Right now he is fighting for his life in hospitals that require payment before service. The last ten days were brutally expensive and he still needs much more treatment. 6/18 UPDATE from Angela: I do not have the words to express how grateful we are right now. Dad has made great improvement especially over the last 2 or 3 days. We are preparing for when he gets released and medical equipment needed at home as well as physical therapy at home for at least 2 weeks once released. The cost here is less than at home but its cash and the hospital bills alone are significant for here. Please share and continue to pray for him. 6/14 UPDATE from my sister-in-law in Thailand: This year like every year I am so blessed to have my daddy. However this year I am spending it in the hospital in Thailand with him. Oh we are very blessed to still have him. He is 80 and we almost lost him a few days ago due to serious medical issues I believe the power of prayer and healing kept him with us. My brother and i flew to Thailand I think on the 11th? It took over 30 hours to get to him and what we found was hope! He had survived the surgery but severe infection is what we are fighting plus he's 80 and had been in the hospital about 10 days so even speaking was a work out. We have made progress the feeding tube has come out yesterday and he has been able to keep broth down. Physical therapy to get him out of bed and start some rebuilding of his muscles to be able to stand/ walk and get back to independence will be a long tough road but my daddy is strong. We are in a foreign country and health care for him is "pay as you go" up to date it has cost about 4 years worth of his living expenses. If you feel compelled to help, thank you.
