Larry Wall and I, Stephanie, have been domestic partners for 17 years. We moved to Hilo, Hawaii, about 18 months ago, and as part of the transition, we had to re-enroll for healthcare from California to Hawaii. Unfortunately, during this process, a clerical error caused Larry’s insurance premiums to go unpaid by Hawaii Medicaid, and his coverage was dropped. We’ve been working hard to resolve the issue, and thankfully, his insurance will be reinstated on June 1st, 2026.
In the meantime, Larry still needs his medication for the month of May, and the costs are much higher without insurance. He relies on ANORO, Albuterol sulfate nebulizer solution, and his emergency inhaler to manage his COPD and stay healthy. Covering these expenses out-of-pocket is a challenge, and I’m hoping to mitigate some of the cost so Larry can continue his treatment without interruption.
Any support to help cover these costs would mean so much to us during this difficult time. We’re grateful for any help, whether it’s sharing our story or contributing to the fundraiser. Thank you for being part of our community and for caring about Larry’s health and well-being.
