Hi everyone, my name is Larry Judd, and I’m reaching out during a challenging time. I’ve recently been diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma cancer, and the journey ahead involves significant medical treatment and unexpected financial strain. We are creating this GoFundMe to ask for your support in covering essential expenses as I focus on my health and recovery.

My Story

The news of my melanoma diagnosis has been life-altering. While I’m determined to fight this with everything I have, the reality of the medical expenses, even with insurance, is overwhelming. I recently had a necessary three-week hospital stay. Unfortunately this coincided with my mortgage payment and ongoing utility costs, and being unable to work during this time has created a significant financial gap that I’m struggling to bridge.

My Need

I am hoping to raise funds to help cover several critical needs.

Firstly, there are the medical expenses that my insurance doesn’t fully cover, including co-pays, deductibles, specialized treatments, and mileage due to distance to appointments from my home location.

Secondly, the unexpected three-week hospital stay has left me behind on my mortgage and utility payments, creating immense stress during an already difficult time.

Finally, my car’s air conditioning unit has broken down. This is a significant issue, especially in the Arizona heat, and is essential for getting to and from appointments.
