Hi my name is Kayla and I am currently a student, graduating in Spring of 2025. I have a cat named Larry and he turned one year old this month. He is a sweet, loving boy who enjoys playing fetch and laying out in the sun. A few days ago my roommate and my boyfriend and I noticed Larry wasn't quite himself and that something was off. We ended up taking him to the vet and they had to drain a cyst from his kidney. We ended up doing more blood work and they found out he has FIP and it's attacking his kidneys. This type of FIP is a rare, fatal disease caused by a mutated feline coronavirus. There is a cure with an oral medication but all the medical bills have been adding up. Any help would be greatly appreciated to go towards his medical care so that he can live a long and fulfilling life.
