Help Larry and Pam rebuild their lives!
Gainesville Elks 990 has set up a Go Fund Me account to assist Larry, Pam, and their Great Pyrenees through their difficult time.
Larry and Pam Croy's home at 13637 NW 39th Ave and their vehicles were destroyed by Tropical Storm Elsa, which hit Gainesville July 7th of this year!
The images show the flooding of their home as a result of Tropical Storm Elsa. The images were taken two days after the storm. You can see the high water marks showing how high the water was inside their home. The home inside had four feet of water, while their garage and Larry’s office had over five feet.
Their carport, where Larry parks his car, is completely underwater with the exception of the roof. YES, his car was still parked there!
Needless to say, everything in their home was a loss except Pam, Larry, and their two Great Pyrenees dogs.
911 was called to assist with their evacuation. The dogs were swum out on leashes while Larry and Pam were escorted by officers so they didn't fall in the deep water. The dogs are now at Pet Paradise while Pam and Larry were at a hotel for the first couple of nights, now they are staying at Pam's sister's house in Anthony (halfway between Ocala and Gainesville).
Their two Great Pyrenees dogs are being bordered at Pet Paradise where the boarding fees are approximately $100/night.
Larry and Pam continue to have living and pet expenses in addition to having their home, their vehicles, and their belongings destroyed.
Hopefully, the funds raised will help Larry and Pam rebuild their lives.
THANK YOU for your support!
