Help Larry and Joy Moorehead in Their Time of Need

Larry and Joy Moorehead have been dedicated foster parents in the Reno area for 30 years. They have fostered over 140 children and adopted 13 children. Larry has also dedicated 25 years of his life working with troubled youth in the community. Larry and Joy have helped the children of this community in more ways than can actually be counted.

With all this being said, we FINALLY got the go-ahead from our mom, Joy Moorehead, to reach out for help in our family's time of need. On October 5th, Larry was up on a ladder, trimming trees, and fell 15 feet off of the ladder. He broke his right ankle, left wrist, left hip, and shattered his right elbow.

He spent a week at Renown and had 4 surgeries to repair what was broken, 2 of those nights in the ICU. Larry is currently in a rehab nursing home and is non-weight bearing on all of his limbs for at least another 6-8 weeks.

Medical bills are piling up and becoming overwhelming. Please consider helping our family.
