Help Support a Strong Mama Fighting Breast Cancer
We’re reaching out on behalf of my sister Larissa, a devoted single mother, cherished friend, and woman of faith, who is currently facing one of life’s toughest battles—breast cancer.
At 39, she had just stepped into a new chapter of her life—starting a new job and purchasing a car to help support her and her 10-year-old daughter. But shortly after, she received news that turned her world upside down: she was diagnosed with Stage 1 multifocal breast cancer, with three tumors totaling 8cm in size.
She is currently undergoing chemotherapy, which requires her to travel to Watford City twice a week. This summer, she will undergo a mastectomy in Bismarck, followed by radiation treatments. Her last chemo session is scheduled for July 2nd, with surgery planned between August and early September.
Despite everything, she remains grounded in her faith and continues to show unwavering love and strength for her daughter, who is her greatest source of motivation. She is actively involved in her church community, leaning on God’s grace and the support of those around her.
We’re hoping to ease some of the financial burdens that come with this journey—especially the growing costs of medical care, travel, gas, and food. Any support you can offer—whether through a donation, a prayer, or simply sharing this page—means the world to our family.
Thank you for standing with her during this time. With God’s help and the love of her community, we know she will get through this.
With love and gratitude,
