Help Laramie Lou Thrive After Early Arrival

Donation protected
Just three days before Christmas, little Laramie Lou Dove was born on December 22nd at just 23 weeks, weighing only 1 pound and 3 ounces. She was born to Kennedy Barnett and Dylan Dove.

Laramie made her entrance into the world only to find the odds were now stacked against her. Her father, Dylan, missed the birth of his first child due to being overseas in Baghdad, Iraq, for his courageous private military work. Having only been gone for two days prior to her unexpected birth, Dylan now has to support her through FaceTime and phone calls as she goes through blood transfusions, brain bleeds, and a heart murmur.

As for Laramie’s mother, Kennedy, her heart breaks for her child, wishing her baby was back in the safety of her tummy. While also healing herself from Laramie’s birth, Kennedy has powered through and is dealing with the circumstances placed on her to the best of her abilities. Being limited on the help she can physically give her, Kennedy has found other ways to support Laramie through her own faith, perseverance, and strength, which is seen in her daughter’s every fighting breath.

Laramie is defying the odds with the help and love of her parents. However, love, in this case, is not enough. Having depleted funds from being out of work for the past six months, Dylan, Kennedy, and Laramie ask for your help. For the next four months, she will be in the NICU growing and thriving, but she needs your strength and your support. Donate now to help her in this fight.
