Hi friends and family! My name is Larada-Lee and I am making this GoFundMe to secure the financial resources that will help facilitate my move from Columbus, Ohio to the Bay Area in Oakland, California. I'm a low-income, first generation college student and Black woman who has spent the last 5 years serving an integral role in organizing spaces that are dedicated to reproductive justice, decolonization and class liberation struggle.

This move to Oakland is driven by my need to escape familial trauma, reground myself in a tangible way and because I will be transferring to Mills College from the Ohio State University. I have already found a suitable option for living but need to raise enough money by the end of this week on the 18th to secure the apartment with a deposit. It will be much appreciated if you all can help aid me in this transformative journey by either directly donating to or sharing my fundraiser.
