Help Lara Heal After Brain Surgery

Dear friends, neighbors, and kind-hearted supporters,

We’re reaching out today for someone truly special — Lara, the heart behind the flower shop Harbor Floral in Morro Bay. If you’ve ever walked past her little shop, you’ve probably noticed the blooms that seem to brighten the whole street. That’s Lara — always sharing beauty, kindness, and care.

Now, Lara needs our care.

Lara is facing a serious medical challenge and will soon undergo brain surgery. While she focuses on healing, she’ll need time away from her shop — her livelihood and her passion. As many of you know, Lara runs the shop by herself. It won’t be able to stay open during her recovery, which means a loss of income just when she needs stability the most.

This is where we come in.

Lara has always shown up for others. She’s brought flowers to the retirement home, volunteered in community fundraisers, and donated her time — and petals — to charity events. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.

Your contribution will help cover:

• Essential living expenses while the shop is closed

• Medical and recovery-related costs not covered by insurance

• Keeping the shop afloat until Lara is strong enough to return.
