My name is Kathy Gleason. Another friend and I are helping our friend Laquisha with apartment rental expenses. The apartment Laquisha and her 3 girls were living in is being sold and she was given notice to vacate. We have been on a journey the past 2 months to find a landlord that will rent to a single Mom with 3 children. We have discovered several obstacles along the way but have finally found an apartment in the same neighborhood that will rent to her.

I am raising funds to cover a $1600 deposit, a $500 renter's insurance fee required by this corporate landlord, and any other unforeseen moving expenses Laquisha may incur, including utility deposit expenses. Any extra dollars raised will be given to Laquisha for auto gas expenses to drive her children to school and for Laquisha to drive to her jobs.
