Hi everyone,

I’m writing this with a heavy heart and a lot of humility and embarrassment. My sweet dog Laney has developed a fast-growing mass on the side of her mouth. It’s become hot to the touch and is now causing her pain and difficulty eating. Recently she’s also been throwing up and showing other concerning symptoms. We’ve been advised that the growth needs to be removed as soon as possible to prevent it from getting worse.

Unfortunately, the timing couldn’t be harder. I’m scheduled for surgery myself next week and will be out of work for several weeks with very limited income. While I’m doing my best to manage my own recovery and expenses, I can’t stand the thought of Laney suffering or going without the care she needs because of me.

Laney means the world to me—she’s my best friend, my comfort, and my family. I’m asking for help, even though it’s not easy to do, so she can get the surgery and treatment she deserves.
