Hi, I'm an artist and activist with a bone disorder called multiple hereditary osteochondromatosis that's has cause me to have multiple health crisis' within the past year. This is in large part because of being unable to get treatment for years due to an abusive parent. (MHE is a bone disorder that causes benign tumors to grow on my skeleton I have upwards of 70 of them) Soon I'll gonna be saddled with a obscene amount of medical debt from multiple surgeries. I need care for nerve issues that currently cause me to randomly lose movement of my left arm, intense neck pain most likely from degradation I experienced for years and a possibly botched surgery, my right leg which randomly becomes so painful I'm unable to move it and walk, my right wrist that frequently causes me severe pain from doing little and especially infringes upon my future as an artist, tumors on my ribs that cause some of the worst pain I've ever experienced as they stab at my lungs, and my ankle where a tumor most likely caused a small fracture and I've been experiencing varying degrees of severe pain in for the past two years. This is at least two years worth of surgeries. Everyday I'm in a constant nightmarish level of pain that has made living a functioning life incredibly difficult. All of these issues have grown worse and compounded with time. All of this along with the pandemic has left me unable to work. I also need to be able to afford a motorized wheelchair as I randomly lose the ability to walk and regular wheelchairs damage my shoulders, and walkers harm my back and wrists. I'm applying for disability benefits but currently dont know if I'll get them. Right now I'm hoping to raise at least enough money to buy a wheelchair.
