Hi, my name is Amy, and I’m raising funds to help my son, Landon, attend an incredible opportunity this fall. Landon has been given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel with his high school, Saint Paul’s, to Washington, D.C., for the 2025 HOSA Washington Leadership Academy (WLA) — and we need your help to get him there.
Landon is a bright, compassionate student with a passion for healthcare and helping others. Through his involvement in HOSA–Future Health Professionals, he’s been exploring what it means to be a leader in the medical field. HOSA has helped him grow in confidence, connect with like-minded students, and dream bigger about a future in medicine or public health.
From September 19–23, 2025, Landon and other selected HOSA students from across the country will gather in Washington, D.C., for WLA — HOSA’s premier national leadership experience. This academy will offer Landon:
• Hands-on healthcare training
• Dynamic leadership workshops
• Opportunities to connect with healthcare professionals and other students from all over the U.S.
• Inspiration and insight into careers that change lives
This trip isn’t just educational — it’s transformational. For a young person like Landon, standing in our nation’s capital alongside other future healthcare leaders will be an experience he’ll carry for the rest of his life.
However, experiences like this come with a cost. The total estimated cost for Landon to attend is $1,462, which covers:
• Airfare & baggage: $384
• Hotel (shared): $478
•Registration fee: $600
As a parent, I want nothing more than to support my son’s dreams. That’s why I’m asking for your support — whether it’s a donation, a share, or words of encouragement. Every bit helps bring this opportunity closer to reality for Landon.
Your generosity is not just helping fund a trip — you’re investing in the future of a young man who’s determined to make a difference in the world through healthcare.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read Landon’s story and consider being a part of his journey.
With gratitude,
Amy
