Help Landon Heal: Support for Heather Mcgehee

Hello, I am Paige Strate and I am creating this go fund me for my Sister in Law, Heather Mcgehee. I am creating it in hopes to alleviate some financial stress. Her 5 year old Son, Landon started having mild hip pain about 3 months ago and it got progressively worse. He was in constant pain. In and out of the hospitals for the past 3 months and had literally every test imaginable, 7 x-rays, 3 CT scans, a colonoscopy, endoscopy, and 2 MRIS. The second MRI revealed he had a very rare condition called CES (cauda equina syndrome). They thought it was an aracnoid cyst until he was sent to Helen Devos to be seen by a pediatric neuro surgical team. They ordered an additional MRI which revealed it was actually an epidermoid cyst (tumor), they are certain this happened due to the little guy having meningitis when he was a baby and the needle used drug skin cells into his spinal cord, which grew the tumor. He ended up having a 7 hr. lumbar laminectomy on Thursday of last week. They are certain they removed it all and little man is starting come around. He got up and walked today...YAY! Landon has about another week at Helen Devos and a lot of physical therapy ahead of him. During all of this, Heather has been unable work and probably won't get back for at least 3 more weeks. She is not one to ask for help so I am doing it for her! Any little bit will help <3 Thank you!
