Help Landon Heal and Stay In His Home

Hello all! Landon Olsen here. For anyone that does not know me, I am a caring and silly joke-cracking man that loves almost everything. I try to be a sun-shining beacon in this world.

Monday, September 4th, coming home from picking up scripts on my electric scooter, a car from the opposite direction hit me while I was trying to make a left turn. It was going around 30 mph, and I ended up in the hospital with a broken clavicle, sprained ankle, and a light concussion. It could have been much worse, I know.

The doctor said sometimes surgeons are needed, but he never got one for his broken clavicle. He just said 6-8 weeks is the healing time, but I might be able to go back to work in 2 weeks. I’m determined not to be dead weight with rent with my girlfriend, but she’s struggling too. I’m a part-time server at Big Biscuit and Krustaceans Seafoods, so I don’t qualify for short-term disability through their companies like somewhere like UPS.

I’ve never had to get an attorney or sue before, so I’m not sure of the process, only that I’m freaking out about rent and being dead weight for the next 2 weeks with my caring gf. That’s why even $5 from the amount of friends and family I have would be more than appreciated. I’m not greedy. Even just a little for rent and food, and I would be over the moon. Anyone that wants to come by and say hi to me I would ABSOLUTELY love. I live in Lawrence and I only have one arm to use but it can be used to make beads play board games or arm wrestle.
