Help Landon Broussard Graduate in December

My name is Landon Broussard and I am currently attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette for my Baccalaureate in Nursing. I’ve been at this amazing institution for about 7 years now and am currently on track to graduate this upcoming December.

This fundraiser was created to help out with covering the expenses of both graduation costs ($1100) and the total for my tuition in my final semester ($5063).

Anyone who knows me or has grown up around me knows how passionate I am about helping others and leading by example. I never had the easiest path to a successful life and career, which makes all of my hard work and dedication a million times more rewarding. As someone who has had 13 surgeries on my ears from 18 months to the age of 18, I have always wanted to work in the medical field. Growing up I placed doctors and nurses on such a high pedestal because these superheroes saved my hearing at a young age, which is such an important quality of life. In my college years I’ve had the opportunity to meet so many amazing people, nurses, and doctors along the way - and i’m beyond grateful to have been showered with their knowledge and support over these years. I told myself after graduating high school in 2017 that if I wanted to be a RN one day, then I would go to the one place that I knew would push me to be the best version of myself - and that’s why UL has become my second home. All the teachers, instructors, and other staff who work in this nursing program have helped shape me into the man that I am today, and I don’t take any of that for granted whatsoever.

As of right now: I’ve been living with my parents while going through college, and neither one of them have the money to help pay for the total expenses of this final semester. My parents living on a fixed income hasn’t been easy in general, but doesn’t really give any chances to help out with other expenses like my current circumstance.

So if anyone does decide to donate and help out in some way - I want you to know that I appreciate it and am forever thankful. All i’ve ever wanted was to make a future for myself - and with each donation that comes in it brings me closer to being able to walk across the stage in December and celebrate with my fellow classmates and family.
